  Who is a Qualified Design Professional ?  

 

This may or may not include a licensed architect.   If your architect is a humble, cost conscious design professional who listens to you, that’s great.   If, on the other hand, your architect is more concerned about “his vision” rather than your budget, you may be in for an unpleasant experience.   The latter is more common than you might think.

A Qualified Design Professional is any individual that has the knowledge, experience and desire to:

  • Create great designs, based on your wishes and within your budget
  • Clearly communicate that design to you and others
  • Generate thorough documentation
  • Effectively process applications with the Planning and Building departments
  • Advise you through the Design / Build process
  • Provide the above services in a fast and affordable manner
